Yes, whoever built it drilled the holes incorrectly and missed the underlugs that secure the barrel to the front portion of the stock. My issue is that when I was began to disassemble the weapon I realized that what I thought were pins in the forestock were simply holes filled with putty. The rear portion of the stock uses the locating pins picture to align the front portion and make them one piece. To explain: The photos show how the gun goes together with a 2 piece stock.
